Practical guide

How to add a call-to-action button to an email signature.

Build the button in Responello, copy it, paste it into your signature, a single email or an out-of-office reply, and test the result before using it with clients.

Install it in your email program

Choose where you use the button and which email program you use. The steps and the animation follow your choice.

Where will you use it?
  1. In Responello, click Copy button.
  2. Open the signature settings of your email program and paste the button where it should appear.
  3. Save the signature and send yourself a test email.

Create and copy the button

Choose concise button text, colours with readable contrast, and the confirmation experience. Assign at least one notification channel, save the button, then copy it with Copy button.

  • Keep the label short and action-specific.
  • Enable the plain-text fallback link.
  • Use the optional contact form only when you need additional details.

Insert and test the signature

Open the signature settings in your email program and paste the button. The steps for each email program are shown above. Send a message to another account and inspect the delivered signature.

  • Check Gmail Web, Outlook, Apple Mail, and mobile clients that matter to your audience.
  • Confirm colours, padding, link destination, and fallback readability.
  • Click the delivered button, complete confirmation, and verify the notification arrives.

Practical notes

  1. Some email clients strip or rewrite HTML and CSS.

  2. Responello uses email-compatible table markup and inline styles, but compatibility still depends on the client.

  3. Keep the fallback URL visible when reliable access matters.

Put a button where the moment matters.

Create a button, choose where the signal should arrive, and test the complete confirmation flow.
